The Lexmark X646e MFP with a customizable e-Task touch screen provides print, copy, fax and scan functions with advanced authentication, secure document printing and device management. Lexmark's Embedded Solutions Framework is a standard feature that allows your MFP to grow with your business needs. The Lexmark X646e MFP has a 533 MHz processor, 256MB of memory, a fast print speed up to 50 ppm and a time to first page as fast as 8.5 seconds. The fax features a speed of 33.6 bps maximum, a transmission speed of approximately 3 seconds per page, a resolution of 200 x 100 dpi, 200 x 200 dpi, 300 x 300 dpi, 400 x 400 dpi, fax redirect, group fax, manual fax, fax from PC, up to 512-character shortcuts, fax preservation, LDAP lookup, Caller ID, speed dials, and blocks junk faxes. The copier speed is up to 50 ppm, can reduce or enlarge from 25% to 400%, collates, has single-pass duplex, message overlay, priority copy (job interrupt), copy countdown, copy select from 1-999, darkness adjustment and original size to output size selection. The scan has duplex and legal-size capabilities, output resolutions up to 600 x 600 dpi black and up to 300 x 300 dpi color, scan destinations of Network TWAIN, USB Direct Interface, e-mail, FTP, LDSS, Scan-to-PC and works with file formats TIFF, JPG, PDF. The Lexmark X646e MFP works on Microsoft Windows, Mac, NetWare, UNIX and Linux and has a 600-sheet input.
